Summer Reading Challenge

Time is running out! If you’ve registered for the Mischief Makers Summer Reading Challenge, all six books have to have been read by Saturday 8th September.
We are so proud of over 30 Finishers already. You can join them and receive a medal and your last reward plus a certificate to be presented at school.

Fabrics and Felt – Blue Light Gallery

Blue Light Gallery, 7 Little Market Place, Masham, Ripon HG4 4DY

Emma Mears and Chloe Greenwood are coming together to exhibit their textile artwork at the Blue Light Gallery. With inspiration taken from local flora and nature, they use a variety of ‘fabrics and felt’ to create the unique pieces.
The exhibition runs from the 4th to the 31st of August.
Open Monday to Saturday 10am-3pm, Sundays 10am-12pm

Use your imagination to find the delightful tiny fairies and pixies that help make Studfold’s Award Winning Adventure Trail a truly magical place. Dress up or put on Studfold’s Fairy wings and Pixie hat and discover stories and explore 20+ tiny fairy/pixie houses. Explore the ‘Great Outdoors’ and discover Studfold’s Hidden secrets – find clues, secret boxes, swap treasure and discover so many countryside experiences along the way. Suitable for all primary and pre-school children and their parents and parents parents!
Do not forget to bring a picnic and something to leave in the treasure swap box. Price £6 adult, £5 child, under 3 free. Have a tasty snack at Studfold’s Nidderdale Way Cafe or email to pre-order a picnic. Last Admission 3.30pm.
Also on Saturday 11th August (weather permitting) have an adventure and go Bug Hunting. Harrogate Biodiversity Group will have a stall and help with the discoveries. Make a crazy bug!
And Kidz Crazy Grassheads on Saturday 25th August (before 2.30pm)

Wednesday Welcome Centre

To offer support to people living with dementia and for those who care for them.
Every Wednesday afternoon. The café is being supported by Dementia Forward and there is access to all of their services.
