1 Year On!
Happy Birthday to the MCO! 30th Aug 2024 marked the 1st anniversary of our purchase of the Old Police Station to be the new home of our Community Hub. It’s been an amazing first year – thanks to all who supported us to get here and our volunteers for all the great work they do every week to keep us open. We’ve already helped thousands of visitors and locals to access vital information and services.
During the summer we have been chatting to residents, community groups and businesses to find out how best we can serve their future needs. Watch this space for a much needed refresh of our website to better reflect the wide range of services we offer and the outcomes of all our group discussions in late Autumn.
What is the MCO 100 Club?
Our 100 Club is one of the most important ways in which we raise funds to continue supporting our local community. So please get involved!
It’s simple to join; members buy “numbers” and three of these are randomly drawn every month to award cash prizes of £70, £20 and £10.
The draw is held on the first Wednesday of each month. To be included, members must have subscribed (and payment must have been received by MCO) by close of business on the Thursday before the draw.
