What is the MCO 100 Club?
Our 100 Club is one of the most important ways in which we raise funds to continue supporting our local community. So please get involved!
It’s simple to join; members buy “numbers” and three of these are randomly drawn every month to award cash prizes of £70, £20 and £10.
The draw is held on the first Wednesday of each month. To be included, members must have subscribed (and payment must have been received by MCO) by close of business on the Thursday before the draw.

How the 100 club helps MCO and your community
The 30th Aug 2024 marked the 1st anniversary of our purchase of the Old Police Station to be the new home of our Community Hub. It’s been an amazing first year – thanks to all who supported us to get here and our volunteers for all the great work they do every week to keep us open. We’ve already helped thousands of visitors and locals to access vital information and services.
During the summer of 2024 we spoke to residents, community groups and businesses to find out how MCO can better serve them. Improved access to transport came out as one of the top reoccurring themes and is something that affects a range of people across our rural community – from young people accessing education, sport and recreational opportunities to others accessing health and wellbeing appointments, community groups and social activities.
We know that improving access to transport is essential and will certainly feature as one of our top priorities for 2025 and your support by being part of our 100 club will help us to do this!
Alongside the day-to-day services and support that we offer, such as the community library, wellbeing walks, signposting and information sharing, digital help and the rest (more on that in our annual report), we’ve also been able to invest in updating our 12 year old website which will better represent what’s on offer across our community. This will be a great tool for locals to use, refer to, promote what’s happening and stay connected. We’ll be launching the new site early in 2025 so watch this space!
