Black Sheep Brewery is at the heart of Masham, and their beer tastes best from the source.

This means the Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre is the prime location for sampling! A tour of the brewery follows the beginning of Black Sheep’s history, right through to the present day as well as a full insight into how the beers are made, and the unique techniques we use to create the perfect pint.

The Black Sheep ‘baa…r’ is fully stocked with iconic Yorkshire beers, proudly served by our in-house team. Proper home-cooked Yorkshire food is available from our stellar team of chefs, perfect after a tour of the brewery. And don’t forget to stop by the Sheepy Shop to stock up on beers and all your favourite Black Sheep merchandise.

Normal Opening Hours:

The ‘Baaa…r’ and Sheepy Shop are open 7 days a week (check here for times).
The Black Sheep kitchen is open Wednesday-Sunday (check here for times).

Special Summer 2026 opening times:

Food service times will be:
Monday – Saturday 12-2:30pm & 5pm – 8pm
Sunday 12-3pm

The bar will be open:
Monday – Wednesday 11am – 9pm
Thursday – Saturday 11am – 10:30pm
Sunday 11am – 5pm
