The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent Charity providing a life-saving rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across the whole of Yorkshire. If every adult in Yorkshire gave just £1.50 per year to the charity, this would keep the two yellow helicopters in the air saving lives, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Last year the crew were tasked to over 1,700 incidents, treating 1,200 patients. 90% of Yorkshire live within a 20-minute flying time from either of the YAA’s two airbases at Topcliffe and Nostell, near Wakefield. There is a Clothes Recycling Bank located next to Masham Bowling Green.
The fundraising team are available to give talks to local groups and support fundraising events.
