The Garden Rooms is a breath-taking experience that attracts more than half a million visitors every year. With two floors of ever-changing displays of highlights from the saleroom and exhibitions, an excellent bistro and popular café, The Garden Rooms delivers a memorable experience for all those that visit, whether for a lunch in the bistro, taking part in an auction, or just to relax and browse the free to enter galleries and exhibitions.
One of the most picturesque settings in the Yorkshire Dales, cycle the paths, walk around Druids Temple or visit the Café. The Café, serving snacks, drinks and great Yorkshire favourites, is the place for guests and visiting walkers, families and friends. Our charming secluded Tree Lodges with private hot tub and access to a woodland sauna sleep up to 7 people. The prominent Meadow Yurts can sleep up to four people with access to a communal hot tub and BBQ area. The Loft is on the first floor of a converted farmhouse with a private outside area for a BBQ, sleeping a maximum of 6 people. Dogs welcome. |

The Lime Tree Observatory first opened its doors in 2016 and is available for both public and private bookings.
Typical sessions last around two hours and consist of refreshments, an astronomical presentation either in the observatory or in our newly built immersive planetarium, followed by astronomical observing through the observatory’s range of telescopes if the weather is favourable.

Widely considered to be home to the North’s largest collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias with over 20,000 plants. The park is enhanced by three lakes, an Arboretum, Pagoda, Summerhouse, Himalayan Shelter, Norse Hut, decorative bridges and scenic woodland walks. A log cabin Tearoom serves a delicious range of food and drink options, complimented by our refreshment horsebox, children’s woodland playground and plant sales area. Dogs on leads are welcome.
