Did you know that as well as Sheltered housing like Maple Creek in Masham, Harrogate Borough Council independent living services also provide support to help older and more vulnerable residents to stay safe and independent in their own home?
We can provide and install a Lifeline unit that is plugged into your phone line to summon help quickly and easily
in an emergency.
Once you push the red button (worn on your wrist or round your neck) our experienced call centre will speak to you through the Lifeline box and summon help, be that family, friends,
a Doctor, carers or emergency services
or the Independent Living Officer on call.
You can also choose to have a Monthly wellbeing visit or Weekly phone call to check everything is okay, and we now offer a short term service for Hospital discharge or when family are away.
Our team also keeps in touch every month to check the equipment and make sure all is well.
If you are interested in finding out more about Lifeline or Sheltered housing for yourself or a family member, please contact Harrogate Borough Council.
