10:30The 10th Annual Lower Dales Charity Bike Ride, sponsored by Theakstons, starts in West Tanfield and takes a circular route through Nosterfield, Well, Masham, Thornton Watlass, Bedale, Exelby, Burneston, Kirklington, Wath and then finishes back in West Tanfield for the presentation.
All riders are required to register by 10am on the day of the ride and must wear their allocated number for the duration of the ride. Sponsorship money must be handed over at registration. Selected soft drinks will be available, free of charge, at all participating establishments. Each cyclist must raise a minimum of £35 to take part in the event. Any cyclist raising £50 or multiples of, can nominate the charity of their choice and this will be entered into the donations draw at the end of the ride. (Charities to be both local and human).
