19:30We are delighted to welcome the 30th anniversary tour of Classic Clapton, fronted by Mike Hall who both looks and plays remarkably like Eric Clapton. More than just a covers band, in 30 years on the road Classic Clapton has become something of a rock institution, appearing at venues from Glastonbury to the Royal Festival Hall, around Europe, and even Mumbai.
The whole of Slowhand’s career is covered, including The Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes and of course solo hits. With two hours of classics including Layla, Wonderful Tonight, I Shot the Sherriff, Lay Down Sally, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Sunshine of Your Love and Tears in Heaven, this concert even includes an “Unplugged” segment.
