Christopher Evans, Artist and Photographer is exhibiting at the Blue Light Gallery from 9th January to 5th February.
Chris comes from an artistic family and was exposed to art from a very early age. Although he has had a complex relationship with his own creativity, art and photography is deeply rooted in him. Two years ago photography switched a light on inside of him. At the beginning of 2015, Chris followed Teesside Musical Theatre Company rehearsing ‘Carousel’ and subsequent to this produced his first book telling the story of this journey through photographs. In addition to his street portraits he has included some copies of ‘Woodpeckers Peck it Wood’.
Chris’ exhibition is to showcase the wonderful people who are involved in Edinburgh Fringe, its energy and vibrancy, the creativity and beautiful way everyone deals with competitiveness. Like all his photographs, they are taken using an old camera with film.
If you have a project that you wish to be documented or a wish for a black and white portrait taken in a special place then please contact Chris for a chat.
