Welcome to the Grewelthorpe Panoramic Peaks 13km multi terrain race. This challenging course takes in some of the toughest climbs and best views in the area, as you work your way up back roads, farmers’ fields, fords, moors and woodland – adjacent to the Swinton Estate near Masham.
This run has been plotted and organised by local, seasoned runners – Sean McKeag and Gary Bastow.
It might be a slightly more challenging course than the average multi terrain, with some interesting ascents that are well worth the effort. But it is fast gaining interest among local runners.
This 13km mutliterrain single lap race climbs above and descends back into the picturesque Dales village of Grewelthorpe (near Masham) and finishes just outside the village. Prizegiving will be on the village green opposite the pond and refreshments will be available in the the recently renovated Methodist Chapel that houses the Hackfall Café as well as an exhibition of art.
Entries £14.00.
Both men and women aged 16 and over are welcome to take part, from novice 10km runners to seasoned athletes.
