19:30The young Australian pianist, Jayson Gillham, is making a considerable name for himself and he has already performed twice for the Cathedral Concert Society. We are delighted to welcome him to play not just one but both of the short but amazing piano concertos by Franz Liszt. The concert begins with Hungarian and Slavonic Dances by Brahms and Dvorak and we finish with the stunning “Concerto for Orchestra” by Bela Bartok – one of the great orchestral showpieces of the 20th Century.
