19:30Ripon Reviewed Project – Richard Taylor
The Ripon Re-Viewed project, run by Ripon Civic Society following a grant from Heritage Lottery Fund, focuses on the photographic heritage of the City of Ripon, bringing together an astonashing collection of over 6,000 images documenting the changes in the townscape, local industries, shops, schools, traditions, and people living and working in the City over the past 120 years. It interlinks conversation, community access and participation: conserving original material by securing long term storage and care by the North Yorkshire Archives Services.
Non members welcome – £3 pounds per meeting.
