The Government are putting £5.7 million into the campaign for a Northern Forest from Liverpool to Hull and the Yorkshire section will be called The White Rose Forest. Harrogate Borough Council are producing a 30 year woodland planting strategy and appreciation of the Ancient Forest of Knaresborough.
The speaker David Rhodes is a retired architect and town planner and quite well knownto MHG for his talks on the area when he was Head of Conservation and Design at HBC covering the natural and built heritage of our area. The talk will be illustrated with a power-point presentation.
