10:00Join Masham artist and gallery owner Josie Beszant to explore techniques for combining fabric, paper and stitch to create a variety of practical and decorative work. Josie uses such creative combinations in her own work and she will guide you through:
– creating new fabrics by combining materials
– using techniques for image transfer
– distressing and preserving papers and fabrics
– using simple handstitching as embellishment
You will go home with a selection of projects that you have completed – these could include a fabric cuff, book cover, prayer flag or similar.
Cost: £65 – Maximum group 8 people. Hearty lunch and afternoon tea included.
