10:00Mike works in oil, and most of his paintings are scenes of the Dales and the Moors; areas that he knows well from walking and are close to his home in Snape. His aim is to capture something of the enjoyment he feels when there, and hopes you feel that you could just walk into the scene.
Mike also produces portraits, usually of a pairing, where the relationship of the people and the mood of the moment are captured. Commissions for both forms are undertaken. Prints and paperweights are also available.
Mike’s exhibition at the Blue Light Gallery runs from Monday 6th June – Friday 24th June.
