A PREVIEW screening of a great new film set in the North of England featuring three children, two donkeys and one big adventure.
After their home life is turned upside down, three children and the family’s donkeys escape across the backbone of Northern England, confronting both the harsh landscapes and what it means to be siblings. This humourous and uplifting film is a throwback to classic children’s adventure films but with a modern feel. The adult stars re Tara Fitzgerald from Brassed Off and Mark Addy from The Full Monty, and both of those films are clear influences, while also celebrating donkeys, trains, and the beauty of Yorkshire from Whitby to the Pennines.
The film will be introduced by its director, Richard Heap, who will also take part in a Q&A after the showing.
