9:00Old Masters and family portraits will be making way for some exciting new work by a selection of the North’s leading contemporary artists this week, as Ripon-based charity New Lights stages its latest exhibition at Swinton Park.
From 18th June – 18th July, with a Private View on Thursday 26th June, the luxury castle hotel will play host to some of the most respected artists currently living and working in the North. All works will be for sale, with 40% of the proceeds going towards New Lights’ Art for All work which seeks to bring an appreciation of contemporary art to those with little or no access to visual arts, including primary schoolchildren in the region.
