Keep Masham Moving

Are you over fifty and feeling in need of exercise to improve your fitness, without it being too strenuous?  Keep Moving Masham is a local community fitness group who meet at Masham Town Hall on Monday mornings at 10am. We endeavour to keep the cost low, so a book of five tickets will only cost £10, but if you aren’t sure whether it’s for you just come along and try us out for just £2.  Any profits made after covering costs are put towards reducing the cost of any trips we arrange.  For more information contact info@visitmasham.com.

Human Evolution

Grewelthorpe Village Hall, Lake Terrace, Grewelthorpe, HG4 3BU

The History Group starts again on Monday 7th October (7pm – 9pm) and runs for six consecutive weeks in the café area of the Village Hall. The subject matter is: Human Evolution, and looks at the fascinating process of how modern humans evolved from extinct primates.

This will follow the previously tried and tested format run by the excellent Barry Robson. It is guaranteed to be highly informative, informal and great fun.

Rainbows & Brownies

We meet term time only.  Please register your Daughter via www.girlguilding.org.uk/joinus or if you would like to volunteer register via www.girlguilding.org.uk/get-involved/become-a-volunteer.

Rainbows – For girls aged 4 to 7, Rainbows learn by doing.  They get their hands dirty, do sports, arts and crafts and play games.

Brownies – For girls aged 7 to 10.  Brownies are introduced to a world of new opportunities by trying new activities, learning skill and getting to go on trips and sleepovers.
