Open Gardens – Kirkby Malzeard

We are pleased to be opening 14 gardens this year. The gardens range from cottage to large formal with plenty to interest keen gardeners.
In the village itself Wensleydale Dairies have kindly given permission for us to use their car park – it is at the entrance to the village on the right hand side of the road coming from Ripon. Post code for SAT NAV: HG4 3RJ
We will be serving refreshments at both ends of the village (The Rectory and St Andrew’s Church) and there will be a book sale and pottery/local art stall at Yew Tree Barn (weather permitting)

Plant sales at Montreux, Main Street – Proceeds to Kirkby in bloom.
Waterford House – This large garden, surrounded by fields and with lots of interesting features including a planted stream and ornamental pond, lies approximately 3/4 mile from the centre od the village. Whilst it is possible to walk from the village (down Church Bank.) It would be advisable for those driving to the event to either visit Waterford first or drive there afterwards – there is plenty of parking space available at the house and tickets will be on sale at the entrance. Cost. £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free – tickets for sale on the day at the Market Cross and Waterford House.
