10:00After retiring from engineering some years ago and moving to North Yorkshire, I was looking for a hobby to occupy my spare time and initially took a short course with a professional wood turner which gave me the enthusiasm to persevere in gaining more experience and set up a workshop. As one who has always been practical and creative, I love what can be produced from a simple piece of wood and the way that the natural grain of the wood can display nature’s beauty in functional and decorative pieces for the home. I use mainly English hardwoods in my work.
