“Utterly at Odds with the Universe” Tom Wrigglesworth

Masham Town Hall, Little Market Place, Masham
19:30

Acclaimed comedian and Radio 4 star Tom Wrigglesworth will be performing a preview of his Edinburgh Fringe An hour-long one-man show, “Utterly at Odds with the Universe” is entirely new material from one of the most original comedians around, as Tom uses elegant flourishes of language to embellish the inspired storytelling which is his trademark.
Tom’s breakthrough show was An Open Return Letter to Richard Branson, telling the true story of how he intervened in a fare dispute on a Virgin train and ended up arrested for begging. He has since performed two series of Tom Wrigglesworth’s Open Letters on Radio 4, using his facility with language and logic to skewer bureaucrats and corporate jobsworths. He is also a regular guest on the Radio 4 series The Unbelievable Truth.
It has been a long time since Masham has hosted live comedy, and this is a rare chance to see a young talent at the peak of his form. Tickets for this preview are JUST £5, and are on sale at the Masham Community Office, or at www.wegottickets.com/ (search for ‘Masham’ on the homepage).
