10:00Exhibition of Original Art by Jane Carlisle Bellerby
Continuing themes developed through an MA course of study looking at our connection to landscape, Nidderdale artist Jane has put together a body of mixed media work to further convey the importance of the Yorkshire landscape to her creative practice. This exhibition combines both silk art and oil paintings of favourite places, landscapes experienced over the years through regular walking. Known for her silk work, Jane created this exhibition at the Blue Light Gallery to become better acquainted with the oil painting medium, taking inspiration from the landscape paintings of Cezanne.
Jane’s exhibition runs from Saturday 29th July – Friday 1st September. Open on Sundays in August from 10am-12pm.
