Although we are unable to open to the general public for browsing during this current national lockdown, the good news is we are still able to offer the “Select and Collect” service where you call to arrange and collect your books later.
Please ring 01765 680204 and speak to a Library volunteer Mon-Fri, 10am-12pm. Our volunteer will talk to you about your reading preferences and complete a “Select & Collect” form with you over the phone.
Alternatively, you can download the Select and Collect form by clicking here. Complete the form then email it back to email@example.com. We will keep your forms on file, so for future requests you will only need to call to confirm or change your book preferences.
Books will be pre-issued to you and we will ring you to arrange a time to collect them from the Community Office. Another person can collect them for you, or we may be able to deliver locally if you have no other way of collecting them. All returned books will be quarantined for 72 hours before being returned to stock. We are aiming to have book orders ready for the following day but if a book needs to be requested from another library, this service is currently taking longer.
If you are unable to ring during library opening hours, please call the Community Office on 01765 680200 and a member of staff will endeavour to help you.
